Already home to more than
five lakhs of residents, Noida has all types
of houses ranging from big kothis, small flats,
individual plots and apartments.
Forty percent of the total land has been
earmarked for residential purpose by NOIDA
united with basic infrastructure and public
amenities.
Sector 28, 29 and 37 constitute Arun Vihar
and Sector 21 and 25 constitute Jalvayu Vihar,
which are predominantly resided by defense
personnel.
Noida is also rich in prestigious group housing
projects of the Army Welfare Housing Organization,
Air Force and Naval Housing Board, Central
Government Employees Housing Organization,
Indian Railway Welfare Organization and various
public enterprises like Indian Oil, PDIL,
KRIBHCO, BHEL and NTPC.
ELDECO is constructing two projects by the
name Utopia and Ananda in sector 93A and 48
respectively. Another project namely The Great
India Place is also under construction at
sector 38A by Unitech.
These projects are meant to be residential
state-of-the art flats with all modern amenities
including basement parking, Mediterranean
architecture, lawn & tennis court and
terrace roof gardens. Further there are colonies
planned alongside Expressway under SEZ (Special
Economic Zone).
One factor that gives Noida its strength
as a lucrative real estate is that it is wholly
developed by the government authority, which
in turn has taken care of every minor detail
of the infrastructure.
