There is good news for property owners in Noida. They will no longer have to run to the Noida Authority (NA) office for getting a no objection certificate (NOC) or other such works.
The NA has started putting all the properties in the city, residential, institutional, commercial, industrial and even group housing plots on the Internet. There are 80,000 properties of different categories in the city.
“This does not include the plots given to farmers and allottees after 2006. When included, the number will go up to 87,000,“ says NA chairman, Balvinder Kumar. In fact, 22,000 residential properties have already been made available online on the NA website, noidaauthorityonline.com.
For those who have bought the property on installment, even information regarding the number of installments paid and left will be available online.
“This initiative has been taken to provide relief to the people who often have to make several rounds of our offices to get small works done. It will also reduce the crowd at our office and also help our officials to work without interruption,“ says Kumar. “This will help reduce corruption. When I had to take an NOC for my house, the staff indirectly asked me for a bribe. And since I had decided not to give any bribe, I had to make so many rounds,“ says Lt Col (retd) RK Saxena.
“It has come as such a relief.
No longer will I waste a day for doing such works,“ says Pratibha Sharma of Sector 47.
“But the CEO must ensure that this job is finished as fast as possible so that all the allottees can benefit,“ says Suresh Prasad of Sector 15.
